Corporate & Workplace Gym Equipment
A well-equipped workplace gym helps attract and keep staff, and makes it easier for people to fit exercise into a working day. Corporate gyms come in every size, from a single room in an office tower to an end-of-trip facility or a full gym for a large site workforce. Nordic Fitness supplies, installs and services commercial gym equipment for workplaces from our Perth base, Australia-wide. We're the exclusive Australian distributor of Circle Fitness cardio and Jerai Fitness strength equipment.
What makes a workplace gym work
Compact, multi-use equipment. Office gyms are often tight on space. Functional trainers, dual-function stations and adjustable benches cover many exercises in a small footprint.
Easy for anyone to use. Staff range from regular gym-goers to complete beginners. Intuitive cardio consoles, clearly labelled selectorised machines and a simple layout make the gym inviting for everyone.
Quiet operation. Workplace gyms are often next to offices or meeting rooms. Good rubber flooring, quiet cardio and limiting heavy dropped weights all help with noise.
Low maintenance. There usually isn't a full-time gym attendant, so equipment should be reliable and easy to keep clean. A maintenance contract means someone is responsible for checking the equipment regularly.
Hygiene. Shared equipment should be wiped down after each use. Place antibacterial gym wipes, specifically formulated for gyms, with dispensers where staff will see them.
Building requirements. Office buildings may have rules about delivery times, lift sizes, floor loading and contractors on site. We plan around these when we quote.
Recommended equipment
Cardio
- Circle Core Series light commercial treadmills, upright and recumbent bikes and ellipticals suit most office gyms.
- Circle Platinum Series commercial models, such as the M8 V2 treadmill, suit larger or busier workplace gyms.
- The Concept2 RowErg and BikeErg give a full workout in a small footprint.
Strength
- Functional trainers and all-in-one trainers offer dozens of exercises from one unit.
- Body-Solid Pro Dual stations combine two exercises per machine.
- Jerai selectorised machines for larger corporate gyms.
- Adjustable benches, dumbbells and dumbbell racks.
Stretching and recovery
Add exercise mats, stretching and mobility tools and fitballs, and keep them tidy with mat storage.
Equipment ideas by room size
These are starting points only. The right mix depends on your staff and how the room will be used.
- Small room (a single office or storeroom): one or two cardio machines (for example a light commercial treadmill and a bike or rower), a functional trainer, an adjustable bench, a set of dumbbells on a rack, and a stretching corner with mats.
- Medium room: a row of mixed cardio (treadmills, bikes, an elliptical, a rower), a functional trainer or dual-function stations, a rack with barbell and plates if staff want free weights, plus a bench, dumbbells and mat area.
- Large workplace gym: a full cardio line, a selectorised circuit, a free-weights area with racks and platforms, and open space for classes.

Sizing a workplace gym
As a starting point, think about:
- How many staff will use it, and when? Workplace gyms are often busiest before work, at lunchtime and after work.
- What do staff want? A short survey can show whether people want cardio, strength, classes or stretching space.
- What space and building services are available? Power for treadmills, ventilation, floor loading, and access for delivery.
- Will there be classes or PT sessions? If so, leave open floor space.
- Who will look after the gym? Plan cleaning, a fault-reporting process and scheduled servicing.
Lead times and deposits
Some commercial equipment is held in stock in Perth. If a Jerai, Body-Solid Pro Dual or Steelflex item is out of stock, you can still order it: allow 45–90 days to site. A 50% deposit is required upfront on Jerai orders. We'll confirm current stock and timing with your quote, so you can plan your opening or refurbishment date.
Frequently asked questions
Can you work after hours? Tell us about your building's requirements when you request a quote, and we'll plan delivery and installation around them.
Our gym is small. Is commercial equipment worth it? For a shared gym used by many people, yes. Light commercial ranges such as Circle Core are designed for shared use and are often a good balance of size, durability and price.
Can you supply wipes regularly? Yes. Ask about bulk cartons of antibacterial gym wipes for your workplace.
